I moved to Hayward from Massachusetts in 1975 with my husband Jim and three children Barbara,

Michael, and Gale.

I worked in Child Care for many years. From a large day care to my own family day care and last of all

for Head start. While working for Head Start at Indianhead Community Action Agency the opportunity

to operates the Food Shelf and Thrift Store was offered to me. In 2014 I retired from Indianhead I just

wanted to work parttime. I was offered the job of Social Service Coordinator at The Salvation Army.

I love helping people this is a great place to work.
